Recipe - Vegan Chocolate Pudding

Updated: Jul 26, 2020

This chocolate pudding is creamy, delicious, and does not contain dairy. This recipe is a great way to satisfy your chocolate cravings in a healthier way.

Have you heard of chocolate, banana and avocado pudding? Sounds weird, doesn't it? Are you wondering if it's really rich? Actually, it's delicious, you don't even taste the avocado.

The benefits of this recipe are remarkable due to the properties of the avocado. It belongs to the group of oleaginous fruits and contains between 14-15% of monounsaturated fatty acids, mainly oleic acid. This has beneficial effects on cardiovascular health.

This dessert provides a large number of vitamins (K, C, B5, B6, and E), as well as potassium, folic acid, and fiber.

Some tips on this avocado chocolate pudding:

* You must make sure the avocado is ripe. An unripe avocado will not work because it cannot be mixed and get a creamy consistency, and an overripe avocado will not work either because it will not taste good.

* If you try the pudding and think you need more cocoa, continue and add a little more. Use your own judgment.

How to store this avocado pudding?

I have discovered that this avocado pudding has the best flavor when it is eaten immediately. If you keep it in the refrigerator for a long time, the flavor of the avocado begins to be noticed.

Chocolate Vegan Pudding

Portions 2-4

Ingredients:

1 avocado (ripe) medium

2 ripe bananas

4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 glass of plant-based milk (almonds, coconut or cashews)

Optional:

1 pinch of cinnamon powder

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

pistachios or nuts to decorate

Instructions:

Add the avocado, banana, cocoa powder , and vegetable milk to the blender or food processor.

Mix, starting at low speed and then going at high speed until the mixture gets a smooth consistency.

If the avocado is larger, you will need a little more of each ingredient. If it is too thick, add more milk.

Refrigerate the pudding and serve it cold. Cover with pistachios or nuts if desired.

Enjoy this delicious dessert!
